INTRODUCTION
One in Four would like to welcome a small group of psychotherapists,
either pre-accredited or accredited, who would like to develop their
skills in working with sexual trauma, to join us on training placement
for **Apply on the website** months.
WHAT IS EXPECTED?
* Provision of psychotherapy to four clients each week for an **Apply
on the website**-month period.
* Participation in group supervision twice each month.
* Attendance at nine days training, (**Apply on the website**
half-days on Saturdays) over the **Apply on the website**-month
period.
WHAT ONE IN FOUR IS OFFERING
* A safe, supported environment to build up client hours.
* Training modules including
* WORKING WITH CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE: covering assessment, risk,
child protection and the law, resourcing clients to self ?regulate.
* THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES AND THEIR APPROACH TO TRAUMA: Body work,
attachment, psychoanalytic, integrative, systemic, CBT.
* WORK BEYOND THE INDIVIDUAL CLIENT: Family support, group work,
working with the offender as a child protection intervention.
* LONGEVITY IN THE WORK: parallel process, self-care, successful
endings.
* Group supervision fortnightly and the opportunity to experience
different approaches to supervision.
* Mentorship from a psychotherapist on the team.
* A certificate confirming completion of the programme.
